Carbon is one of the elements on the periodic table and is the most abundant in nature. Carbon is all around us, in the sky, the sun, oceans, and also in us as well, we breathe out carbon dioxide. It comes in three different forms: amorphous, graphite, and diamond. Graphite is one of the softest materials, and its commonly used in something we use in school all the time which in pencils.
